Garrett Sprouse

Position: President

Year and Major: Senior, Environmental Engineering

Reason for joing CUB2P:

My involvement with Bridges to Prosperity began with my passion for engineering and international development. I have always been a firm believer in taking your knowledge with you to areas less privileged and teaching them ways to improve their own lives. Having the fantastic opportunity to be able to partake in the construction of a 227 ft. span pedestrian footbridge in the remote community of Copanchucho, Bolivia in the summer of 2013 has helped shape me as an engineer, leader, and as an individual.

Interests and Hobbies:

Outside of my academic studies and being involved with CU B2P, I enjoy mountain and road biking alongside my teammates on the CU cycling team. Also, as a native Coloradan, I enjoy many outdoor activities including, backpacking, hiking, rock climbing, hunting, and much more.
